November 27th - December 31st 2009 - VH1 Big Shopping Event
For the first time ever, VH1 Save The Music's "Big Shopping" event will become an online shopping experience, where consumers across the country can purchase items from the newest, hottest and most exclusive retailers and designers from Friday, November 27th – Thursday, December 31st. Featuring celeb supporters, trendsetters and special guests, "VH1 Big Shopping" will link consumers with the most coveted items inspired by music and today’s pop culture, in support of VH1 Save The Music Foundation’s work to jumpstart instrumental music education programs in U.S. public elementary and middle schools.
The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in American public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of an education that includes music. Since 1997, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation has successfully restored and sustained instrumental music programs in 1,700 public schools in more than 100 cities across the country. To date, VH1 Save The Music has provided more than $45 million in new musical instruments, affecting the lives of more than 1.4 million children.
